We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the team.

Work for an industry-leading builder delivering on a wide range of Residential, Mixed-use, Commercial & Industrial projects.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the team at Built Projects.

Based on-site, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination of the construction process (in conjunction with the senior management team), through the coordination and documentation of design and program requirements. The role provides a link between design, building services and sub-contracts to ensure project objectives are met.

 

As a part of the role you will be responsible for the following:

    • Coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
    • Ensuring installation works in the field are being undertaken in accordance with the project specification and appropriate design standards.
    • Assist with managing construction staff and sub-contractors in planning and executing work onsite.
    • Assist with managing and monitoring critical components of the project such as structure, façade and fit-out.
    • Quality Assurance.

With proven site experience on mid to large-scale commercial projects, your skillset will include:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Building or similar.
    • Background in Engineering, Construction, and delivery process.
    • Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual documentation delivery.
    • Commercial and financial understanding of the construction industry.
    • Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia.
    • Knowledge of Design, Estimating and Procurement.
    • A hands-on understanding of structure, steel, finishes, façade, and services.
